When two cultures, two hearts, and two beautiful families come together in one breathtaking setting, you get a wedding weekend as vibrant and unforgettable as Jesús and Monica’s.

Hosted in the lush glass greenhouse that is The Jewel Box at Forest Park in downtown St. Louis, Missouri, this celebration was a fusion of tradition, elegance, laughter, and love—wrapped in florals, filled with music, and glowing with meaning from beginning to end.
A Weekend of Meaningful Moments
Jesús + Monica’s wedding was not just a one-day affair—it was wedding weekend experience.
Kicking off with a welcome party and concluding with a relaxed Sunday picnic, the weekend offered their guests a full immersion into the couple’s story and values: family, culture, and celebration.

From the very beginning, we focused on creating an intentional weaving of Monica and Jesús’ heritage into the fabric of their day. Their wedding ceremony and reception beautifully honored both Korean and Mexican traditions, making space for laughter, gratitude, and reverence.
Our bilingual planning team was right by their side all weekend to be sure everything happened smoothly and just as we’d planned.

The Ceremony at The Jewel Box
With a botanical backdrop as romantic as their story, the ceremony took place beneath soaring glass ceilings surrounded by tropical greenery and spring bouquets.

Monica was escorted down the aisle by both of her parents—a touching moment that brought tears to guests’ eyes—and met Jesús at the altar where their bilingual wedding ceremony was performed.
Guests heard vows spoken in both English and Spanish, a powerful tribute to the multicultural foundation of their relationship, and an important part of ensuring all of their guests could follow along.

Mariachi Music & Korean Paebaek
After the ceremony, cocktail hour followed with a dynamic blend of music by the live mariachi band as they serenaded guests, bringing classic Mexican melodies to life and setting a lively tone for the evening.

Towards the end of cocktail hour, Monica and Jesús changed into traditional Korean wedding hanboks for the Paebaek ceremony, in which they bowed to their elders and received blessings for their future.

The Paebaek brought both heartfelt emotion and playful energy—especially during the part where chestnuts and dates were tossed into a white cloth to symbolize future children. Guests enjoyed witnessing these beautiful cultural rituals up close, many for the first time.
Personal Details & Design

Monica’s bouquet featured an array of seasonal blooms in soft pinks, creams, yellows, and blues—echoing the floral watercolor motif found on their welcome signage and stationery.

The reception design was clean and modern with long white tables, floating candles, and pastel floral arrangements. Light blue napkins added a subtle pop of color to each place setting, and tall lanterns anchored the centerpieces with timeless elegance.

The charcuterie and dinner tables were just as show-stopping, featuring whole salmon, fresh fruit, and gourmet cheeses—arranged with tropical leaves for a nod to the venue’s botanical surroundings.
A Packed Dance Floor & Sweet Endings
As night fell, Monica and Jesús shared their first dance under the soft lights of the greenhouse, followed by joyful parent dances that had everyone smiling.

The energy on the dance floor was infectious as guests of all ages joined in. One of the highlights? Watching Monica dance with her grandmother and new husband—three generations united in movement and laughter.

Instead of a traditional cake cutting, the couple shared cupcakes with playful flair and heartfelt laughter.

The evening was punctuated by unforgettable moments that blended joy, music, family, and community.
Their Wedding, Their Way
From the ceremonial bows and mariachis to a heartfelt first look and a bubble-filled grand exit, Jesús & Monica created a wedding weekend that was undeniably them—bold, joyful, and full of heart. We were honored to play a part in bringing their vision to life and supporting such a meaningful celebration.

Jesús & Monica, thank you for letting us be part of your journey. Your wedding was a testament to what happens when two people honor both where they come from and where they’re going—together.
